You also need two apples, an onion, some gherkins, vinegar, sour cream, sugar, salt and pepper. I also added some milk to get some more sauce.

6 soused herring filets (herring filets in oil)
200ml sour cream
salt, pepper, sugar
1. Cut the herring filets in big pieces.
2. Dice the onion and apple, slice the gherkins. Add the fish.
3: Add the sour cream and season with sugar, vinegar, salt and pepper.
4. Add some milk if you prefer having a bit more sauce. Leave to marinate for 3 hours. Serve with boiled or jacket potatoes.
