My morning was saved and I could enjoy a slice of nice crusty bread with grandma's strawberry jam.
Preheat the oven to 175°C. Form the dough into a loaf, put it on a tray lined with baking parchment and cut in the top crosswise. Bake for 45 minutes. Put on a cooling rack and leave to cool. You can also serve it slightly warm with butter.
500g plain flour
1 sachet of baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. sugar
2 tbsp. oil
300 ml milk
1) Put flour, sugar, salt and baking powder into a bowl an mix well. Add oil and milk and knead to smooth dough. Leave to rest for 30 minutes.
2) Preheat the oven to 175°C. From the dough into a loaf and put on a baking tray lined with baking parchment. Now cut in the top crosswise and bake for 45 minutes. Put on a cooling rack and leave to cool.
