I made these pizza waffles for yesterday's dinner, but they are also good to take to work. I served them with a tomato salad and Greek garlic dip. They are quickly made and are cheap as well. It is definitely a good meal for students or if you want to cook on a budget.
Today I was really busy with my term paper, but I needed some time off. So, what do you do when you want to procrastinate? Right, baking ;)
I made this lovely cinnamon pull-apart bread. It is similar to the cheese and onion one I made some weeks ago. Thus, you will find two recipes here in the end. One is for a savoury loaf, which is best served with some sour cream. And the one I made today is for tea time. Now you have to decide which to test first :)
Yesterday night we made some lovely cheeseburger. I know that it is not typically British, but who can say no to those delicious little things?
Today is bacon day :)
Everybody loves it, but rarely admits it. Just think of the lovely smell of sizzling bacon and its crunchy, salty taste. Just lovely! In Britain bacon is mainly used in a full English breakfast, but I tried it in some savoury muffins. You can serve them with the bacon-wrapped fishcakes if you are a real bacon lover.
I am a student and a passionate cook. I fell in love with food in my childhood when I helped my mom and granny in the kitchen. Today, I especially enjoy cooking British food, but on my blog you will also find a variety of other international dishes.
